If you’d like to have a live guide to Central Oregon’s microbrews, you’re in luck. You can taste and tour by bus, cycle pub, horse-drawn carriage, or electric car.

For a special meal, there are several fine-dining establishments near the lodge. If you’re after casual eats, local food carts are a good bet. There are also plenty of kid-friendly dining spots.

In downtown Bend, you’ll find local goods and much more at independent shops. The Bend Factory Stores offer outlet pricing on major brands. The Old Mill District along the river has both local stores and national chains.
And remember, Oregon doesn’t have sales tax!
